AT SCHOOL WITH THE BEES
It is our purpose to enrich with new interests the educational process of our children, stimulating them to understand the complicated alliance between man and nature and to awaken an ecological awareness in addition to protect the natural heritage. For these reasons, from the very beginning of our activity, we have made ourselves available to school and individual groups in order to introduce them to the fascinating world of bees offering guided tours of our farm.

During the summer time, it is possible to observe closely the laboriousness and organization of the bees through an educational beehive, to assist and take part to the bees’ activities in our laboratory.

During the winter periods a large dedicated room is available with educational support and a multimedia system with a screen projector .

The educational activities we propose are the following:
- Composition of a bee family and the vital cycle of all its components;
- Explanation and illustration of a beehive;
- Illustration of beehive products and their use;
-Taste of the different and typical types of honey and their marriage with other food products (like cheese, puddings etc)

All the above mentioned activities are available to enrich the new interests of schools of different level, individuals, families and groups.
